Your child's future

What your child should learn now, for the world ahead.

Changing careers, schools slow to adapt, skills everyone talks about: your questions are legitimate. I answer them for your child, with a consultation, an assessment and a written action plan. Then, if you wish, I stay with them over time.

Action planConfidential

What your plan contains

  1. 01
    Portrait

Who your child is today: results, way of reasoning, what drives them.

  2. 02
    Actual level

Subject by subject, what is secure and what is missing, from their tests.

  3. 03
    Strengths

What AI will amplify in them, and what it will make less useful.

  4. 04
    Direction

The paths that suit them, without choosing a career on their behalf.

  5. 05
    Decisions

School, languages, track, country: what to decide, and when.

  6. 06
    Timeline

This term, this year, the next three years. Who does what.

What parents ask me

The same questions come up, in every family.

  • Will the career they imagine still exist when they are twenty-five?

  • Is school teaching them what will really matter?

  • Should they learn to code, or is that already outdated?

  • Which abilities should they develop, and at what age?

  • With AI, do mathematics and writing still matter?

  • Which school, which track, which country: how do we decide?

General answers are everywhere. None of them applies to your child: the right one depends on their actual level, how they reason, what motivates them, and what your family envisions for them. That is the work I do.

My conviction

Nobody knows the jobs of 2040. We do know what will prepare for them.

I

Fundamentals are gaining value.

Reasoning, writing precisely, calculating, mastering several languages: this is what lets you judge a machine's work. A child who cannot check will depend on the tool.

II

The career is not the right question.

No one chooses a career at twelve. You build abilities and achievements that open several doors, and keep the best ones open.

III

AI is learned as a tool.

Early, and to go further, never to do the work for them. Used well, it accelerates a good student. Used badly, it stops them from becoming one.

IV

The big decisions are made early.

School, languages, subjects, country: each choice opens or closes doors, often years before anyone notices.

This is how the families who prepare their children earliest think. They do not try to guess the future: they decide what is within their control.

How I work

A consultation, an assessment, a plan. Then ongoing guidance, if you wish.

Request a consultation
  1. First

    A consultation with you

One hour, by video, prepared from a questionnaire. Your child, your family, your ambitions, the countries you are considering, what worries you. You leave with answers already.

  2. Second

    Your child's assessment

Written tests suited to their age, in mathematics, French, English and reasoning, which I mark myself. Then a conversation with your child, alone. We then know where they truly stand.

  3. Third

    Your action plan

A written document, which I present to you in a second meeting: their portrait, actual level, direction, the decisions ahead and the timeline. The plan is yours.

  4. If you wish

    Ongoing guidance

Regular check-ins with your child and with you, school reports read, the plan adjusted. And my presence at the moments that decide: a change of school, subject choices, applications.

Who builds your plan

Greg Mittelette

Centrale LyonEngineerMIT XSupply Chain Analytics

An engineer by training, I have taught mathematics and physics for fourteen years, to students in France and around the world.

For several years now, international families have entrusted me with far more than lessons: steering their children's education, choosing schools, guiding subject and career choices, and admissions to the most selective universities. I also take part in work on what schools will need to teach tomorrow.

I build every plan myself. I do not delegate this work.

Frequently asked questions

From what age?

From primary school to the final year of secondary school. Tests and conversation are adapted to the child's age; the earlier we start, the more room the plan has.

Should my child prepare for the tests?

No. They measure their actual level, they are not a grade. Your child takes them at home, alone, within the time given.

How is this different from a careers adviser?

The plan starts from your child's actual level, measured by tests I mark, not from a single conversation. And it does not stop at choosing a track: it says what to build, in what order, and when to decide.

How much does it cost?

The fee is given during our first exchange. It depends on your child's age and on what their situation requires.

And after the plan?

The plan is yours: you can carry it out on your own. If you wish, I stay with you over time.
