Choosing the school, and getting in

Jeannine Manuel, École alsacienne, Franklin, Stanislas, Swiss boarding schools: we prepare your child's entry into the school that suits them, from primary to high school.

Before university, the school

A university admission is prepared years in advance, and it often starts with the choice of a school. The great Paris schools are not alike: academic demands, pace, the place of English, the way pupils are treated. The right choice depends on your child, not on a ranking. For years we have been working with pupils from Jeannine Manuel, Franklin, École alsacienne and the Lycée international de Saint-Germain: we know what these schools expect, and what really counts at entry.

Three ways we can help

Depending on whether the school is already chosen, and on how much time is left before the application.

01 Choosing the right school

School reports, a family questionnaire, three tests taken at home then marked and commented, an interview with your child and one with you. Within three days, a written report: your child's real level, the two or three schools that suit them, and what each one looks at.

02 Preparing for the chosen school

The gaps measured against what the school expects, a work plan, practice in the school's own conditions, a mock interview, then the application and the timeline until the answer.

03 Support over the year

A review of every school report, preparation for the assessment and interview in the months before the deadline, an application reviewed, and the right moment to apply.

Our principles

  • No place is ever promised: we prepare your child, the school decides.
  • Two well-chosen schools are worth more than four random applications.
  • A school is chosen on the child's real level: that is why everything starts with tests.
